Diagnostix announces S5 integration with OpenClinic GA

The S5 lab middleware from Diagnostix connects automatic lab analyzers to the OpenClinic GA hospital information management system. Communication is based on HL7 messaging format and any HL7-compliant lab analyzer can now be connected to OpenClinic GA. This way, manual entry of lab results can be avoided, which reduces transcription errors and enhances the speed of results transmission to the prescribing physicians.
